If you haven’t visited Hildreth’s Garden Centre in a while… we think you might be in for a bit of a surprise.
It’s all changed a bit at Hildreth’s Garden Centre – and if you haven’t been by recently, there’s a lot to discover!
We’ve massively stepped up a gear (or ten) when it comes to our plant range, and our regulars will have already noticed – there’s now much more variety across our family-run centre than ever before. From stunning hanging baskets for summer (just arrived!) to beautiful specimen trees including magnolias and wisteria arches, plus a wide selection of fruit and ornamental trees, there’s something for every garden and every space.
You’ll still find all your garden staples – perennials, shrubs, roses and alpines – alongside an expanded herb garden and a growing houseplant collection indoors.
And we’re not stopping there!! Soon, we’ll be launching our brand-new Plant Finder – an interactive tool both in-centre and on our website, designed to help you choose the perfect plant for your space. It’ll guide you, inspire you, and even tell you exactly where to find it on site. If you’ve already spotted the little pavilion in the nursery area outside, that’s where it’s going to be – very soon. Watch. This. Space.
Of course, if you’re popping in for all those other Hildreth’s essentials, reast assured, they’re still all here! Compost (we’ve got every kind you might need), salt for water softening (we reckon we’re the cheapest around) along with all your most important gardening tools, including the state of the art Ego Power+ System lawn mowers and other top brands.
And when the gardening’s done? Take a moment to relax with our new outdoor furniture collections, including our exclusive NEW Chiltern Living range of dining and sofa sets, as well as premium brands like 4 Seasons and Bramblecrest.
We’re still one of Buckinghamshire’s go-to destinations for BBQs -we stock only the best, including Weber, Broil King, Masterbuilt, Traeger and Ooni pizza ovens. With so many models on display, you can check them out up close properly before you buy – with our team on hand to answer any questions.
Beyond the garden, you’ll find our Hardware team ready to help you locate all your pet supplies and DIY essentials, the Gift Shop above that for something a little special for that special person (you?!). Plus Country Threads is open for business – stocked with must-have outdoor wear for spring and summer, plus some lovely linen and t-shirts from great brands like Weird Fish and Goose Island.
