Our Fireworks Extravaganza is back this year – even bigger and better – and we’re raising cash for Prestwood Scouts and the Thomas Ball Children’s Cancer Fund.
The Hildreth’s annual fireworks display is back on Saturday 1st November! Tickets are on sale now and we’re raising cash for the Prestwood Scouts and The Thomas Ball Children’s Cancer Fund.
Our gates will open at 6pm, with volunteers from Prestwood Scouts kindly helping us get everyone into the garden centre car park safely. A reminder that there’s no parking on site – it’s not safe with so many people about. But if you have specific needs around accessibility, please give us a call in advance and we can arrange for safe gate drop offs.
The fireworks themselves start at 7.30pm but get here early, as we’ve got DJ Tim back to entertain you before they begin! We’ve also got some very tasty food offerings, including stone fired pizza, Greek food, delicious paella from the iconic Little Urban Chef, as well as burgers and hot dogs and mouth-watering brownies and cookies from our friends at Crumbs and Brownies. We’ve also got a small selection of stalls to browse while you wait for the display to start.
Our bar (provided by The Green Man) will be open all evening serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and the Limes Tea Room is proving mulled wine (that fireworks staple!) and hot beverages to fight off any chills.
For the kids, there’s face painting and kids’ rides are back by popular demand. We’ll have glow sticks for them too and as the fireworks end, there will be live music from ‘The Mighty Stampede’ so feel free to hang around…and maybe even have a little dance?! They will be playing plenty of familiar covers to keep the energy high!
